Your loved one will practice daily living/independent living skills which will support them to increase their independence and build the community connections.
Healthy Relationships:
The need for intimacy and meaningful connections with others is part of the human condition. People with intellectual disabilities have similar needs for intimacy, but often encounter a unique set of barriers as they build friendships and move into the dating world. In this workshops we will explore and practice important relationship skills which we can use to build healthy friendships and relationships.

Cost
DSAW offers both paid and free services. Contact your IRIS consultant, Family Care, or CLTS case manager to help you add these programs into your life/day.
Tim Giuliani, DSAW’s Operations Manager, can help you with all billing and authorization-related questions. If you do not have access to one of these funding streams, you can also opt to pay privately. Cost will not impact someone’s ability to access and participate in DSAW’s educational programming. We do have need-based scholarships available.
All of DSAW’s classes and programs are taught by trained, background-checked, skilled professionals.
