Our Young Leaders Class is a respite program coupled with a unique curriculum that will introduce students to important topics such as work ethic, attitude, communication skills, time management, problem-solving, acting as a team player, self confidence, ability to accept and learn from criticism, flexibility/adaptability and working well under pressure, personal hygiene, nutrition, and how your body talks. Each class will include a recreational activity as well! The teacher for this class is Chris Due, DSAW's Programs and Events Coordinator. Chris will use a variety of instructional techniques including video modeling, role-playing, visuals, and hands on learning to drive the content home. In addition, we will have several expert guest presenters.
