This webinar will help teach families how to have a good experience when procuring transportation and caregivers through an agency. We will explain how to self-direct so that the person with a disability is the employer, and is able to customize transportation and caregivers for their needs, including recruitment and the creation of job descriptions. We will talk about natural and paid supports, as well as define industry terms for transportation such as “door through door,” “door to door,” and the nearest corner.
