Self-Employment Webinar

This webinar is over. To view the recording, click the link at the bottom of this page. You will need to register to view the recording.

In this webinar, we'll be talking about why self-employment can be a great option for our friends with Down syndrome. We'll go through several case studies of successful businesses, walk through the "self-employment tool kit," and discuss business feasibility, business plans, and the proof of concept. No matter the age of your loved one, self-employment might be something to think about for the future.

Our presenter for this webinar is Ron Malloy, retired Executive Director of DSAW-Family Services. In his career, Ron has helped start 20 businesses: 9 large businesses that gross a quarter billion dollars annually and employ 500 people, 9 non-profit organizations, and 2 micro-enterprises for individuals with Down syndrome. He has two MBAs (one from IL Benedictine and one from Marquette University). He has a 100% success rate for helping people with special needs start their own business.
