Communities benefit from diversity and inclusivity, and people with disabilities want to make meaningful connections and contributions in their communities. DSAW and the Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities invite you to a statewide virtual Community Conversation!
Join this Community Conversation event to:
Connect with community members around Wisconsin
Learn how you can cultivate community inclusion for people with disabilities
Find solutions and opportunities to meet your community engagement needs
Help our communities become more diverse, inclusive, and welcoming for people with disabilities
You’re Invited! Individuals with disabilities, family members, friends, community members, employers, elected officials, educators, and organizations serving adults with disabilities across the state of Wisconsin are invited to attend.
The event will begin with a panel discussion. Then attendees will join various breakout sessions to dive deeper into topics related to community inclusion. We will end with a harvest session, sharing with the group what each breakout session learned.
