Circles: Social Boundaries Classes
DSAW-Fox Cities is excited to offer the Circles curriculum for the first time to the teens and young adults with Down Syndrome in our community! We plan to offer the class annually.
WHO: Teens/adults (ages 13 & up) with Down Syndrome
WHAT: Learn the importance of "touch, talk, trust" boundaries for various social relationships in your life. Fun & snacks guaranteed each week!
WHEN: Fridays in April & May 6:30-8:30pm

WHY: "The Circles program teaches students how relationships can be formed and maintained according to the social norms & social boundaries of our day and age. Thus, the Circles program lays the foundation for people with disabilities to manage the amount of personal responsibility and social integration now available to them"
