Sibshop for Siblings of Children with Special Needs

Presented by the Chileda Development and Learning Center in Partnership with the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin - La Crosse

Sibshops are pedal-to-the metal celebrations of the many contributions made by brothers and sisters of kids with special needs. Sibshops seek to provide siblings with opportunities for peer support within a fun environment. The Sibshop model uses many off beat games and activities interspersed with discussion and informational activities to provide siblings with information, support and a whole lot of fun!

Who: Children 7-12 who have a sibling with special needs

When: Saturday, September 21, 2019, 9:00am- 12:00pm

Where: The Chileda Development & Learning Center 3716 Mormon Coulee Rd., La Crosse WI, 54601

Cost: $10 (to cover supplies and snack) *If you are unable to cover the cost of the Sibshop, please contact Karrie Zielke for scholarship opportunities.
