Spring has sprung! Join other DSAW families for a guided hike at Retzer Nature Center led by a naturalist! Using our powers of observation and sensory skills, we will have a hands-on outdoor experience exploring the natural treasures of the season. The hike will be completely outdoors and 1 hour long. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfy walking shoes (tennis shoes, hiking boots, etc.)
WHEN: Saturday, April 10th
TIME: 1:00- 2:00 PM. The program starts at 1 PM. Please arrive a few minutes before 1 PM to meet up with the group.
LOCATION: Retzer Nature Center (S14 W28167 Madison St, Waukesha, WI 53188)
WHO: Individuals with Down syndrome and related disabilities of all ages.
COST: FREE to families with individuals with Down syndrome and related disabilities
Meeting Spot:
When you arrive at Retzer, come into the main lobby that is in the building at the very end of the parking lot.
Check-in with Abigail when you get inside. She will have a sign that says "DSAW."
COVID-19 Precautions:
The program is conducted outdoors, so dress for the weather.
Face masks will be required indoors and when social distancing cannot be properly maintained outdoors.
