Madison Area Down Syndrome Society In-Person Personal Awareness & Safety Class will be an 11-week course that will prepare participants for real world scenarios to keep them safe & aware at home, in the community, and on the internet.
Participants will learn everyday skills and strategies for topics including: Safety & respect, dealing with stress, consent & boundaries, 911 & emergency situations, controlling emotions, internet safety, appropriate clothing, and daily exercise.
