DSAW Sibling Workshops dedicate time to support siblings of individuals with Down syndrome or related disabilities. Workshops are a safe space for siblings to share their feelings, experiences, and struggles while making connections with other children whose families look a lot like theirs. Workshops are tailored to different age groups, and typically include crafts, activities, conversation, and lots of fun!
Workshops are run by Kristi Westcott and Abigail McIntyre. Kristi is a DSAW Board Member and mom to a son with Down syndrome and a typically developing daughter. Abigail is DSAW's Outreach & Education Manager and has an older brother with Down syndrome.
