Celebrate World Down Syndrome Day 2021 With Your DSAW Fam!

Individuals with Down syndrome, families, and friends are invited to participate in our WDSD Drive-Thru on March 21! Our drive-thru will be open from 1-3 PM. You will swing through and individuals with DS and siblings 13 and under will receive a fun swag bag to help them celebrate the day! On your way out, families are invited to add an artistic contribution to a community canvas.

Don't forget to wear your DSAW WDSD t-shirt and mismatched socks!

Location: DSAW Office Parking Lot (11709 W. Cleveland Ave. West Allis, WI 53227)
Date: Sunday, March 21
Time: Drive-Thru will be open from 1-3 PM! Come any time!
Cost: FREE

Logistics

  • Pull in to the DSAW parking lot

    1. please enter on the east side (by the basketball hoops0. There will be signs!

  • Drive up to the doors to collect your WDSD Swag Bag

  • Park and add your artistic touch to our community mural!

    1. Participants are invited to hop out of their cars and paint/color on DSAW's community canvas!

    2. We will have sanitized supplies for you to use!

    3. Masks required for participation. We will have gloves if you want to use them.

By signing up for the DSAW WDSD Drive-Thru & Celebration, you are agreeing to comply with any precautions DSAW may take regarding COVID-19. Precautions for this event include all participants over 2 years of age wearing a face mask and maintaining social distancing.

  • Face coverings/masks required in your vehicle and when/if you participate in our community canvas activity (CDC: Your Guide To Masks).

  • Social Distancing: participants and guardians are required to keep 6 ft of distance between themselves and participants outside of their household (CDC: Social Distancing)
