DSAW Family Day at Zachariah's Acres

Join other DSAW and MADSS families for a trip to Zachariah's Acres in Oconomowoc! Zachariah's Acres offers nature-based activities including nature trails, active farmland, ponds for fishing and a giant "tree house". You can choose to try your hand at fishing off of a pier on one of the ponds . Everyone will get a chance to see the farm fields in action on a hayride and take a pontoon ride on Mapleton Lake.

  • Everything except lunch will be completely outdoors

  • Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfy walking shoes (tennis shoes, hiking boots, etc.)

  • Food will not be provided. Please bring a bag lunch and beverages.

WHEN: Wednesday, August 25th

TIME: 9:00am - Noon

LOCATION: Zachariah's Acres (N74 W35911 Servants' Way, Town of Oconomowoc, WI 53066)

WHO: Individuals with Down syndrome and related disabilities of all ages.

COST: FREE to families with individuals with Down syndrome and related disabilities

Meeting Spot:

When you arrive at Zachariah's Acres , come to the main pole barn that is right by the parking lot. Check-in with Dot when you get there. We will be the only group there that day.

COVID-19 Precautions:

The program is conducted outdoors.

Face masks will be required if we go indoors and when social distancing cannot be properly maintained outdoors.
