Advocacy for Change is a full day advocacy and skills training event for parents and other family members who have children/youth with disabilities or special health care needs.

Participants will:

Learn about the latest policy priorities, including long-term supports, changes to Medicaid and private insurance, special education, mental health and more!

Practice and receive coaching on how to tell your family story in ways that can impact changes in programs and policies.

Visit with your elected officials at the State Capitol to educate them about issues important to you and your family.

Registration fees are as follows: 

$0 – Full scholarship ($125 value) – Parents/family members/individuals with disabilities attending for the first time ONLY

$50 – Partial scholarship – Parents/family members/individuals with disabilities who have previously participated

$125 – professionals/providers/ teachers/community members
