Our Young Leaders Class is a respite program coupled with a unique curriculum that will introduce students to important topics in the areas of social skills, work, and wellness.
WHO: This class is for young adults with any developmental disability who want to work and live in a community-based setting. Our typical participant is between the ages of 16-30.
WHEN: Mondays 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Winter/Spring 2020 semester runs thru April
WHERE: Friendship Circle of Wisconsin, 8649 n. Port Washington Rd, Fox point, WI 53217
COST: please contact Chris (chrisg@dsawfamilyservices.org) to discuss payment options, including cash, check ,credit, IRIS, and DSAW Grant. If needed, individuals can “try out” the class for 2 weeks free!
DSAW charges fees for some recurring programming because of the cost of curriculum, staffing, occupancy, etc. However, participant’s ability to pay should not prohibit attendance! Please contact DSAW if you need financial assistance.
