DSAW is hosting open play hours at DSAW Headquarters this fall. Our newly remodeled children's instruction room is set up to encourage collaborative and explorative play.
Caregivers and parents are required to stay with their child during their time at play hours.

WHO: Participants ages 4 and under
COST: Free
COVID-19 precautions:
-Temperature taken at the door of the DSAW office
-Masks will be worn by all instructors when at the DSAW office
-Hand washing and toy sanitization
-DSAW will have multiple hand sanitizer stations throughout the office to ensure safety & hygiene
COVID-19 Info/Policy
Typically-abled individuals ages 2+ are required to wear masks inside the DSAW office. Individuals with Down syndrome and other disabilities ages 2+ are encouraged to wear a mask if they are able, but it is not a requirement.
1) If a participant develops any symptoms (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea), they will need to get a negative COVID test before resuming in-person classes/services. Participants with symptoms will be sent home immediately.
2) If a participant tests positive or is exposed to someone who tests positive for COVID, they will need to quarantine. If they test positive, quarantine period would be 14 days and until symptoms are gone. If they are exposed, quarantine period is 7 days with a negative test at the end. However, if the participant is vaccinated, they do not need to quarantine if they are exposed, only if they test positive.
