DSAW West Allis Internship

The Job Ready Program combines job readiness & soft skill training along with real world work experience. Students meet 2 days a week for the entirety of the session. Students participate in on-site, interactive classroom instruction, which includes soft skill topics such as Communication, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Attitude and Professionalism.
Work experience will include a variety of office tasks and some light custodial work. A certificate of completion along with a letter of recommendation from DSAW will be presented on our final day.
NEW: The last two weeks of class will include résumé building and interview practice!
Date and Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00am - 3:00pm at the DSAW Office in West Allis. Session will run from September 7th to June 3rd. Students will have 2 hours of soft skill class/project based learning, a 30-minute lunch, and 2 hours for their internship work.
