Parents of children or adults with Down syndrome and related disabilities are meeting up for FREE cross- country ski lessons courtesy of The Wausau Nordic Ski Club! This is a wonderful opportunity to get ski equipment, trail pass, and lessons at no cost! Following our ski session, warm up with DSAW- Central WI in the parking lot. We will have hot chocolate and snacks to share.
When: Tuesday, February 2
Time: ski lessons begin at 6:00 PM. DSAW- Central will provide hot chocolate and snacks in the parking lot at 7:30 PM!
Note: Bring a lawn chair!
Location: Nine Mile Forest Recreation Area
Directions: From Wausau take I-39/US 51 south to CTH N, west on CTH N 3-½ miles to Red Bud Road, south on Red Bud Road 1-½ miles to the chalet parking lot on the right.
Who: Adults only. Parents and caregivers of children with Down syndrome!
