Trying to find a socially-distant winter activity? DSAW has you covered! Register below for the DSAW Meet Up at Winterfest at Washington Park.
THIS EVENT IS FREE BUT IS WEATHER DEPENDENT. If old man winter cooperates you will be able to cross-country ski, snowshoe, skate and go sledding! There will even be hot cocoa around a fire. The event is presented by the Urban Ecology Center and takes place entirely outdoors.

Pre-registration is not required for this drop-in program, but feel free to RSVP on Facebook to let your friends know you're coming. Please fill out DSAW’s form so we know to expect you and your family!
When: Saturday, February 12.
We will "Meet Up" from 10:00 - Noon but you can stay until 2:00pm!
Where: The Urban Ecology Center Parking Lot at Washington Park, which is on the Northeast side of the park on the lagoon. Enter off of 40th Street and the lot is just south of the Park Service Yard. (1859 N. 40th Street, Milwaukee, WI).

Who: This event is for people with Down syndrome and their friends and families.
Cost: FREE!! Including equipment "rental" like skis, sleds and snowshoes!

This event is weather dependent and will be cancelled if there is not enough snow, it is too cold OR too warm. The decision to cancel will be made by the organizers - The Urban Ecology Center - Not DSAW.
